  • INTUITIVE. The backlit display of this Mammut safety device has a simple interface and is clear and easy to read even with polarized glasses. The interface can distinctly show distance, direction and number of subjects to help. The display also has a good degree of customization of the splash screen, user data and settings of the numerous search features, all of which can be configured individually.
  • DIE Ae The Barryvox S is equipped with W-Link, an additional communication channel to further facilitate searches operating at a frequency of 869.8 MHz, and the band of its inbound and outbound signals extends over a radius of 70 m both inbound and outbound. In analog mode the receiving band can be extended up to 95 while the search band can be extended up to 100 m.
  • DESIGN. This Mammut pager has an ergonomic conformation, is anti-shock and anti-breakage and can operate in temperatures between -25° and +45°.
  • FUNCTIONS function Mammut's Barryvox S has several technologies, including: an acoustic search guidance system, which allows rescuers to perform visual searches in the avalanche area; a direction reversal function to avoid 180-degree search errors; autotest and automatic operation tests; Auto Revert, which switches the signal from reception to emission if a rescuer does not move for 4 minutes, very useful in case of second avalanche; a Smart Search feature provides clear instructions for a quick and precise search while tracking the actions of rescuers.
  • INCREASED SECURITY. To make this Mammut device even more performing and safe, it was equipped with Rescue SEND, a protection feature for rescuers not actively engaged in the field for research. Also noteworthy is the automatic guidance that allows rescuers to lead to buried subjects even in case of overlapping signals or failures and the 3D sensor that provides vital data and facilitates the concentration of the rescue effort on the subjects most likely to survive.
