The Scott Scale Contessa 940 mtb offers the right balance between downhill and uphill performance and is the answer of the famous Scott brand to all adult cyclists who love adventure and off-road.
Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide high stopping power with minimal effort and precise brake control in all conditions, even in the wet. Mechanical disc brakes have a system that is open to external elements, and this can lead to the cable getting dirty or clogged if you ride in wet or muddy conditions. In hydraulic disc brakes, on the other hand, the system is closed, which means that there will be no dirt inside the brake system and braking will be smooth and controlled.
The Scott Scale Contessa 940 mtb is equipped with a "RockShox Judy Silver TK Solo Air" fork with remote locking technology to allow you to set multiple travel settings and adapt to riding conditions.
Quality components such as the 12-speed "Shimano SLX RD-M7100 SGS" rear derailleur and the lightweight, high-performance "Maxxis Rekon Race" tires complete the outfitting of the mountain bike, able to offer maximum grip on different types of terrain.
