SCOTT

Mountain bike Scott Aspect 960

New Scott bike previewed in 2021, perfect for those who have recently discovered the world of MTB

  • LONG-LASTING COMFORT - This mountain bike is a hardtail: equipped with a non-cushioned rear frame (wagon), which will allow you to save energy while pedaling by avoiding unnecessary cushioning. In this way it is directly the frame design that guarantees a stable and comfortable platform even for long-lasting excursions.
  • REDUCED STRESSES - The front suspension fork reduces the stresses on the front wheel, improving ride comfort and supporting pedaling even when the ground is rough and the front wheel encounters obstacles along the ground, decreasing the possibility of falling
  • MAXIMUM LIGHTNESS - The frame is made of aluminum, an excellent material for mountain biking because it is very resistant to impacts that often cannot be avoided along the paths. Its structure, however, gives the bicycle maximum lightness, making it even more maneuverable than heavier models. The MTB in fact weighs only 14.6 kg.

Technical features Mountain bike Scott Aspect 960

Description

New model of Scott mountain bike for the 2021 season. Lightweight, easily maneuverable and equipped with excellent components, it is ideal for those who have just begun to venture out on a mountain bike.

Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, with huge 160mm rotors, provide high stopping power with minimum effort and precise braking control in all conditions, even in the wet. Mechanical disc brakes have a system that is open to external elements, and this can lead to the cable getting dirty or clogged if you ride in wet or muddy conditions. In hydraulic disc brakes, on the other hand, the system is closed, which means that there will be no dirt inside the brake system and braking will be smooth and controlled.

The front fork has 100mm travel. Travel is the length that the wheel can cover when the suspension reaches the end of its travel. As a result, when you hit an obstacle with your Scott Aspect and the suspension kicks in, the wheel will still be able to move up 100mm, allowing you to overcome uneven terrain with greater dexterity and ease.

Quality components such as Shimano Tourney 16-speed gearbox, Syncros saddle and durable Kenda tires complete the set-up.
