Technical features Corsa Nanotech Ice Ax

Description

& nbsp;

The Advanced ax hiking on snow and glaciers and ski mountaineering on the market. Constructed in aluminum alloy 7075-T6 such as the lightweight Race, it differs from the latter for the inserts in the steel alloy Sandvik Nanoflex® of head and tip: critical points which are thus much more resistant and long-lasting without sacrificing the lightness.

& nbsp;

The curvature of the handle optimizes the joke without reducing the functionality in support and the penetration in the snow. A special nylon insert prevents snow to penetrate and accumulate in the ice ax. The grip formed in the bottom of the handle ensures a good grip. The slot in the rear part of the head allows the fixing of Dragonne Stroke (available separately). Not suitable for climbing vertical ice and mixed terrain binding.

Sandvik Nanoflex® innovative steel alloy with a mechanical strength and a toughness of 60% higher than normal alloy steel ; allows to reduce the amount of metal to be used, greatly decreasing the weight while maintaining its strength intact.
